The Real Test of Quality: It's Not the Brand Name—It's the Replacement Parts
If you ask me, the most common question in this industry is "Is hansgrohe worth the price?" Right behind it is "Who makes the best heating and air conditioning units?" Or, on a Saturday morning, "Is a Genie garage door opener reliable enough to count on?"
These are the wrong questions. Or rather, they're only half the question. I've spent the last four years reviewing products before they reach customers, and I've learned that the real test of quality is not the name on the box. It's what happens when a small part fails.
The Question Everyone Asks (And the One They Should Ask)

I'd answer the same way: find out what happens when the smallest part fails. If the answer includes a part number and an available spare, you're on the right track. If it doesn't, then you're buying a sculpture, not a product.
