Notice what's missing? The logo. I don't put 'brand quality' in the spreadsheet because brand isn't a cost. Engineering, tested performance, and parts availability are costs. If you think of TCO as a hassle, you're doing it wrong. It's the same arithmetic a facilities manager uses for a pump or an HVAC unit. The only reason it feels unusual in the bathroom is that fixture prices are small enough to hide behind.

In my role, I also look at search reports, because a specification that doesn't match the project is a failure at the drawing stage.
